Hazelhurst junction

This is the original 1849 cast iron bridge at Hazelhurst Junction. Here the Willow came under the bridge and made a card left U turn to get on to the Leek branch. We went about a mile and then made a hard left over the Caldon on the way to Leek,

The only house at the top lock at Hazelhurst Junction was the Lock keepers house.
