This is a pair of Anna's Hummingbirds followed by a female Lesser Goldfinch that we saw before starting our morning walk from the San Pedro House. As we approached the river this couple came towards us and exclaimed "You're the Olsens". We met this couple 2 years ago walking along the San Pedro River and soon determined that Natalie was the sister of someone Anne workes with at Winthrop. She and her husband Nate were visiting the San Pedro River for the first time.
They live 2 hours southeast of Cleveland. Boy were we surprised to see them at the same place 2 years later on this trip. We quickly decided to meet here in 2012. The last bird of the morning is a Wilson's Warbler.
