Day five to see Burrowing Owls

The first picture is of an Eastern Meadowlark, subspecies lilianae. Lilianae is found in SW Arizona. The second picture is the Burrowing Owl. Notice that he is banded. A local rancher has a reclamation project that takes Burrowing Owls that need to be moved out of the way of highways or other development. The birds are free and wild. The third picture is a Lark Sparrow. The last picture is a Swainson's Hawk that decided we were no threat.
